Lee Dobbins

Defined Tag:

Glass bird feeders can be beautiful and look what a wonderful sculpture or they can end up looking like a boring tube that has no beauty or style.  But not all feeders are just a simple tube would see in them in fact many glass blowers have wonderful designs in all shapes and sizes that can add artwork to your garden.

Currently, one of the most popular styles of glass bird feeders is one which contains a mixture of glass and copper. It could be just a copperplate that you put the seat on like a platform or intricate sculpture with copper designs and glass feeders.  One beautiful theater consists of a simple copperplate and above this copper plate is a wonderful stained glass work of art that shows a picture of whatever birds you enjoy looking at the most. These glass feeders are almost like having your very own stained glass window in your yard.

On the other hand, if you are into more abstract forms, then there are glass feeders for you as well. Generally, these other types of glass bird feeders start their life as the simple glass tube that was mentioned above, however they have significant work done to them after that point. Sometimes a rainbow of colors is added an amazing shapes can be created and even patterns can be put in the glass.  With glass there are no restrictions in the limit is only your imagination.   Pretty much whatever your mind desires can be constructed by a skilled glass blower or shaper, making this second type of glass bird feeder a product that can be completely designed to mirror your tastes.
